MSP 2013- Calling Callisto

Before I get into the questionnaire, I would like to say that I tried something new with the shading. It takes a lot longer to complete and idk how I really feel about keeping it around, but its something different and kind of refreshing for me. So opinions would be nice.


1. Please take a moment to introduce yourself to us.

Hi my name is Jasmine, a.k.a. Sailor Callisto. I am currently 19, born on New Year's, also on the taller side. I come from a rich family, but I don't really like fancy expensive things. Antiquing is a hobby of mine, which is something my parent's may never understand, as you can imagine. I have two best friends, Cari and Julianne, both are also senshi. I dream of being a hair dresser someday.

2. Tell us something that will help us remember you.

I am interracial and proud! I'm Puerto Rican/Irish with a dash of African. My family may not be loving, but they don't care about races! My power is magnetism and gravity, both of which aren't something you normally see everyday. Also I don't know too many senshi that are into the things I am into. My friends just put up with it. *Laughs lightly*

3. Describe your typical day.

I typically wake up alone, eat breakfast alone, get dressed and ready for my day alone, while my parents go off to their country club or whatever it is they do. We have a butler, but he's very quiet and doesn't show himself that much. Most days, I just go hang out with Cari and Julianne at the market or have sleepovers.

4. What makes you happy and what makes you scared?

Happiness comes from my antique collecting and my friends. As I said before, I tend to be alone since my parents are always so busy, so it's kinda nice to have such great friends to keep me company. What scares me is losing them of course. They are all I have except for money, but we all know money isn't everything.

5. What do you find most challenging about being a senshi?

Knowing my place is a little tough for me. I like to be the leader of things, but Sailor Europea is our leader. Don't get me wrong, she's a great person and I love her like a sister I never had, but it's just how I am. It's not all bad though, since I have these awesome powers I can be lazy with!

6. Who is your role model and how do they inspire you?

Typically as I like older styled things, I love the movie and book Ella Enchanted. I feel like Ella is a lot like me in some ways like being born with something abnormal and not following the crowd. Before she met Char, she wasn't like every other girl and swooned over him. Well she still didn't, but she fell in love the right way. I want to be like that, but I don't feel like I need a man in my life.

7. What would you name your autobiography?

Something along the lines of "What Glitters is Not Always Gold".


8. Do you believe in fate/destiny, or do you believe you write your own story?

Definitely writing your own, but it's hard to be taken seriously in such a belief when I was born in this age with powers normal people shouldn't have. That was fate since I'm from the future, along with the rest of my team.

9. Do you have other teammates? What are they like? If not, do you wish you had some?

Like I said before, I do have a team. You already know Sailor Europea very well, Sailor Carme is eccentric and is wooed by boys all the time, Sailor Carpo is very quiet and shy, and Sailor Cyllene is a tough and powerful young woman.

10. What do you hope to accomplish by competing in this pageant?

I would like to get to know myself a little more. As a rich kid, I don't really get much attention on me as much as the money and businesses do. Basically, this is for self-building purposes.

11. Do you have anyone special out there cheering for you? Would you like to give them a shout out?

Yes! My whole team is here with me today! Hey guys! Love you all!
